A method for manufacturing a carbon-fiber honeycomb filler having cells of a hexagonal shape includes corrugation of sheets of composite material in numerous cavities of a die by a pressure intensifier, whose working surfaces have a PTFE coating and are complementary to the die cavities made in the form of a honeycomb, curing and forming the corrugated sheets in a honeycomb block by adhesive connection of their contact surfaces with a pressure device comprising a die for corrugating and an upper die identical thereto with symmetric arrangement of the cavities, in addition, first the sheets of prepreg are pressed under shop temperature that are formed from 2n (n≥1) layers of unidirectional carbon fibers impregnated with a binder, each layer is arranged with fiber orientation at an angle of +45° or -45° relative to the axis of prepregs, and at an angle of 90° to the fibers of the adjacent layer, while at even values n two middle layers of prepreg are arranged with the same orientation of fibers, in addition, numerous die cavities have rounding of ribs with a radius of not less than , and as a pressure intensifier are used the key punches with separate special tips that allow to form a common working surface being complementary to the die surface, and an even number of prepregs are placed in a corrugated block with additional forming elements in the form of elastomeric chambers or metal rods so that on their contact surfaces the orientation of unidirectional carbon fibers coincides, then the temperature of adhesive connection is raised in stepped mode followed by hardening the prepregs. |
