PURPOSE: An eco-friendly insecticidal composition containing Foeniculum vulgare Mill. fruit extract is provided to ensure excellent insecticidal effect without harm to human body. CONSTITUTION: An insecticidal composition contains 60-80 wt% of Foeniculum vulgare Mill. fruit extract, 15-25 wt% of rose geranium extract, 5.5-7.5 wt% of Syringa vulgaris extract, and 2.5-4.5 wt% of Erigeron annuus.L extract. The Foeniculum vulgare Mill. fruit extract is prepared by crushing 300g of Foeniculum vulgare Mill. fruits and heating the fruits with 300 ml of ethanol at 60 Deg. C. for 2 hours using a soxhlet extraction device.
