PURPOSE: A device for measuring the flow and temperature of piston cooling oil for a ship engine is provided to secure a wide space for an electrode rod of a capacitive sensor as a temperature sensor and the capacitive sensor are embedded in one rod. CONSTITUTION: A device for measuring the flow and temperature of piston cooling oil for a ship engine comprises a head, a sensor casing(14), an output unit(16), a temperature sensor, and a capacitive sensor. The head is connected to the outside of a piston cooling pipe. The sensor casing is charged in the piston cooling pipe. The output unit outputs the temperature of oil and a relay contact signal. The temperature sensor and the capacitive sensor are installed in the sensor casing. The temperature sensor transmits the temperature value of the oil. The capacitive sensor detects the flow of the oil flowing through the piston cooling pipe with a capacitance method. |
