PURPOSE: A bidirectional interpreting apparatus and a method thereof having various reply functions are provided to supply a suitable question by deforming an object of a sentence or a word in various types. CONSTITUTION: An input unit(110) receives a text object, a handwriting data object, and each selection signal. A language converting unit(140) converts data of a user language and data of the third party language. A voice output unit(170) outputs the translated question and reply. A screen output unit(180) displays the interpreted question and reply, an input window, and a translation function window. A control unit(190) controls conversion of the inputted object.
