PURPOSE: A prop block arrangement method, a prop block moving tool, and a machine tool having the tool are provided to improve the accuracy of an arranged position because a prop block is arranged by the relative movement of a spindle and a table. CONSTITUTION: A prop block arrangement method is as follows. Prop blocks(61-66) are installed in a block receiving area(28A) within a range of supporting a spindle. A prop block moving tool is mounted on the spindle and comprises a spindle mounting unit being mounted on the spindle and a block holding and supporting unit holding and supporting the prop block. The prop block is arranged at a pre-set work-piece loading position on the upper surface of a table after the prop block is supported by the block holding and supporting unit of the prop block moving tool through relative movement.
