摘要 PURPOSE: A catalyst for preparing all-carbon quaternary stereocenter compounds and a method for preparing the same are provided to implement the catalytic asymmetrization of 1,3-propanediol with two substituents. CONSTITUTION: A catalyst for preparing all-carbon quaternary stereocenter compounds implements a catalytic reaction by forming a chiral ligand copper complex with a divalent copper compound. The molar ratio of the catalyst and the divalent copper compound is in a range between 0.5:1 and 5:1. The catalyst only includes carbon. The divalent copper compound is one or more selected from a group including CuCl_2, Cu(OTf)_2, Cu(PF_6)_2, Cu(SbF_6)_2, CuBr_2, and Cu(OAc)_2.
