The device has a hanger (10) for allowing a poster support (1) e.g. transparent pocket, to be hung up in a display position and to be lowered down to a lower position through a pole. The hanger includes a hook (11) extended successively by a vertical portion (12), a horizontal portion (13) and a lug (14), where the hanger is fixed to the support by inserting the lug into a perforation (2) in the support. The lug projects from the support when the support is in abutment against the vertical portion such that an end of the pole is between the lug and the support to operate the support.
