Cosmetic process for treating human perspiration and optionally body odor, preferably axillary odor, comprises applying to the surface of the skin a composition comprising in a medium, at least one hydrophobic film-forming polymer of non-neutralized copolymers of (meth)acrylic acid and N-tert-butylacrylamide, and non-neutralized copolymers of crotonic acid and vinyl acetate. An independent claim is included for the composition comprising the hydrophobic film-forming polymer and at least one additional antiperspirant and/or an additional deodorant.
