The image management device comprises: an input unit (10) for receiving input of a signal according to external operation; a storage unit (14) for storing a plurality of types of labels for the images; an image processing unit (13) for calculating a feature value for each image; an image selection unit (17) for selecting images according to the signal received at the input unit; a label extraction unit (18) for extracting one or more types of labels from among a plurality of types of labels based on the feature value; a display control unit (19) for producing and displaying on a screen one or more icons that correspond to the one or more types of labels; and a labeling unit (20) for labeling a selected image with a label that corresponds to the icon associated with the image when an operation signal is input which associates the image selected by the image selection unit and any one of the one or more icons.
