<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polylactic acid resin composition having excellent transparency and satisfying both strength and flexibility, and a method for producing the composition. <P>SOLUTION: The polylactic acid resin composition comprises a polylactic acid resin and a finely-divided layered double hydroxide-containing composition, wherein the finely-divided layered double hydroxide-containing composition is obtained by a method including a step of finely dividing a layered double hydroxide in the presence of a plasticizer. The method for producing the polylactic acid resin composition includes step (1): a step of obtaining a finely-divided layered double hydroxide-containing composition by finely dividing a layered double hydroxide in the presence of a plasticizer, and step (2): a step of melt-kneading a raw material for a polylactic acid resin composition comprising the finely-divided layered double hydroxide-containing composition obtained in step (1) and a polylactic acid resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
