<p>The invention relates to heat and power engineering and can be used for dispersing liquids in cooling towers, spray ponds and scrubbers, and also in other mass heat-exchange apparatuses where, alongside the spraying of liquids, gaseous media have to be ejected. The sprayer comprises a distributing chamber having a threaded stem, and an attachment having a discharge opening in the form of a Venturi nozzle, said distributing chamber and attachment forming the body of said sprayer. A vortex generator is mounted within the body. On the distributing chamber side, the vortex generator has semi-cylindrically shaped grooves which diverge from the axis to the periphery. At the other end, the vortex generator has an internal cavity in the form of a rotating body of complex configuration, which cavity is connected to the grooves by continuously curved channels. The channels are oriented tangentially with respect to the internal cavity. The parabolic surface of the cavity and the confuser part of the attachment nozzle have hemispherical projections. The invention provides a reduction in the hydraulic resistance of the sprayer, said reduction enabling the liquid to be finely dispersed and the ejection coefficient to be increased.</p> |
