<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for an electrochemical element which is high in tensile strength and puncture strength, large in breaking elongation, and excellent in winding property, and to provide an electrochemical element which is excellent in a discharge capacity retention rate. <P>SOLUTION: A separator for an electrochemical element contains a nonwoven fabric having a crosslink between fibers, in the vertical direction as viewed from a cross section of the nonwoven fabric, the crosslink comprising a micro thin thread made of a polyolefin resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
