Usually the mandrels which form a filling orifice traverse in the mould. Allows use of a smaller dia. initial parison and greater degree of subsequent parison expansion and/or orifice sepn. than prior designs with immobile mandrels. The parison wall thickness can be reduced and less powerful trimming devices are required.</p> |
