<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve usability for a user in the case where a screen image is projected on a ceiling as a screen. <P>SOLUTION: The image display apparatus includes: a projection unit provided in a manner that a projection angle thereof is changeable vertically; a projection angle detecting section for detecting the projection angle of the projection unit; and a screen image correcting section for reversing a projected screen image. The screen image correcting section, in response to a command of a user, changes over a display mode between a standard display mode for reversing no screen, and a reversed display mode for reversing the screen, and in a state of being set in the reversed display mode, when the projection angle detected by the projection angle detecting section becomes equal to or less than a predetermined value (60° or less), changes the display mode from the reversed display mode to the standard display mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
