The determining unit (1061) determines whether image pickup position information is associated with the image data acquired by an image pickup. If no image pickup position information is associated with the image data, the image pickup position estimating unit (1062) estimates an area including the image pickup position from a piece of image pickup date-and-time information of the image data, pieces of position information at timings before and after that piece of image pickup date-and-time information, and pieces of image pickup date-and-time information corresponding to those pieces of position information. The display data generating unit (1063) generates display data so as to display, on a map image, the area estimated by the image pickup position estimating unit (1062). The display control unit (112) causes the map image to be displayed on the basis of the display data generated by the display data generating unit (1063).
