<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a brush which is capable of greatly enhancing fiber density of a brush bristle, and to provide a brush obtainable by using the method for manufacturing the brush. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a brush includes the steps of: warping filaments for brush bristles; alternately impregnating the warped filament for brush bristle with a low melting-temperature resin-containing solution and a soluble resin-containing solution at a predetermined interval; drying the filament for brush bristle after impregnation with the resins; alternately folding the filament for brush bristle; press-molding the low melting-temperature resin by heating the filament for brush bristle at a temperature higher than a melting temperature of the low melting-temperature resin; and removing the soluble resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
