摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer base material which is a virus-adsorbing polymer base material for removing viruses in blood and has a function that enables selectively removing the viruses without adsorbing/removing a blood component whose removal is undesirable, and without causing clogging up by a thrombus or the like, and to provide a medical device using the same. <P>SOLUTION: This polymer base material is a hepatitis virus or human immunodeficiency virus-adsorbing base material wherein a porus polymer support body (B) is surface-treated by a graft polymerization reaction of a polymerizable compound (A). In the hepatitis virus or human immunodeficiency virus-adsorbing base material, a sulfated polysaccharide is bound with a graft polymer chain formed by the polymerizable compound (A) through a covalent bond formed by the reaction with one kind selected from a group consisting of a compound (C) having a hydroxyl group or an amino group, a compound (D) having at least two epoxy groups, and ammonia. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
