摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a sintered light emitter capable of dissipating heat of a light-emitting portion through reduction in thermal resistance of the light-emitting portion. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting portion 7 is made by sintering a ceramic material and a fluorescent substance which emits light when irradiated with a laser beam emitted from a semiconductor laser 3 after forming the ceramic material and the fluorescent substance into a compact while using a binder. The ceramic material includes alumina or aluminum nitride, and the light-emitting portion 7 is made by injection-molding a mixture of the ceramic material, the fluorescent substance and the binder, and sintering it.
