The present invention relates to the technical field of optical communication. Disclosed are an optical control method, optical signal control system and optical backplane system. The method comprises: detecting whether a circuit board is pulled out from the optical backplane; if a circuit board is pulled out, querying the transmitting port of another circuit board connected to the slot where the pulled out circuit board is located, sending a first control instruction to the transmitting port and notifying to shut down the transmitting port or to adjust the output power of the transmitting port below a preset threshold. The optical signal control system comprises a detection module and a control module. The optical backplane system comprises the optical signal control system. The present invention prevents optical signal leakage of the optical connector on the slot of the pulled out circuit board, thus avoiding injuries to the operators, especially to the eyes, and reducing the power consumption of the system.
