<p>A cable body having: an inner cable; an outer cable having the inner cable inserted therethrough; a cover bridging the inner cable and the outer cable; and an annular member deformed to press the cover and make the cover contact with the inner cable or the outer cable. The cover is characterized by having a wrapping section for covering the front end side of the outer cable, and the wrapping section is provided with: a pressure contact section pressed and brought into contact with the outer surface of the outer cable by the deformation of the annular member; a holding section for preventing the annular member from tilting and from moving in the axial direction, thereby holding the annular member so that the axial direction thereof and the axial direction of the outer cable are parallel to each other; and a deflection-resistant section located adjacent to the holding section and preventing the deformation of the holding section.</p>
