<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timepiece capable of generating a different hammering sound or a sound according to various different states. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a striking mechanism unit for a repeater striking mechanism, the striking mechanism unit including a driving plate which includes a cylinder part pivoted around a shaft D and supports a hook with a pawl, and a movement stop ratchet pivoted around the shaft D and supporting a pin, and configured such that the pin passes through a hole of the plate and abuts against the hook against a spring to move the hook when the movement stop ratchet is pivoted and the pawl enables a cylinder part ratchet 11 of a downstream stage 1 to be pivoted integrally with a first hour ratchet 13 to be pivoted or stops the cylinder part ratchet 11 from being pivoted according to the position.
