<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal which reduces contact pressure without reducing a biasing force against a movable contact part of the terminal and thereby preventing breakage of a connection pad of a battery and the deterioration of the current carrying capacity due to heat generated by the movable contact part. <P>SOLUTION: A terminal 30 has a movable contact part 36 which protrudes from a contact hole of a housing 10 so as to protrude or retract. An arcuate thin wall part 38, elastically deforming a contact surface 36a of the movable contact part 36, is formed. Increasing a contact area lowers a contact pressure without reducing a biasing force against the movable contact part. Further, an exposed area in the movable contact part increases and thus cooling efficiency is improved. Therefore, the terminal 30, which is unlikely to be heated to high temperatures and reduce the capacity of the electricity flowing therethrough, is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
