PURPOSE: A motor control device and a control method thereof are provided to flexibly apply the motor control device in a use environment by setting an input and output contact according to a user definition. CONSTITUTION: A contact input(30) receives input terminal information from external devices. A contact output(40) outputs output terminal information controlling the external devices. A controller(50) controls an I/O signal of the external devices. A user input(60) receives a user selection for a control sequence input mode. The user input sequentially receives the input terminal information and the output terminal information. A storage(80) stores an inputted control sequence.
