<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camshaft bearing structure capable of preventing the durability of the rolling bearing from deteriorating. <P>SOLUTION: The bearing structure 1 has a rolling bearing 15 having two outer wheel members 22, housings 13, 14 sandwiching the rolling bearing 15 between them, positioning bosses 16, and positioning receiving holes 17. The positioning bosses 16 and the positioning receiving holes 17 position the outer wheel member 22 to the housings 13, 14 such that the dividing line L formed by connecting the joining lines of the outer wheel members 22 themselves perpendicularly crosses a direction of a force received by the cam shaft 4 from a timing chain.
