<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods, systems, and networks for making identified generator reserve capacity available to provide compensation for lost generator capacity on a temporary basis. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention provides increase in power output (ΔP) of currently operating synchronous generators to provide substantially instantaneous supply of additional power upon loss of other generating capability.
