RADIO COMMUNICATION DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of an error in communication even when the communication is performed independently in each CC (Component Carrier).

SOLUTION: A radio communication device transmitting transmission data by using a plurality of system frequency bands and controlling transmission power for the transmission data for each system frequency band comprises a transmission power control part which: sets a reduction amount so that the maximum transmission power in the case of simultaneously transmitting data by using the plurality of system frequency bands is lower than transmission power in the case of transmitting the data by using one system frequency band; and controls the transmission power for each system frequency band by using the set reduction amount so that the sum total of the transmission power for each system frequency band does not exceed the maximum transmission power.
