<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enclosing/packaging apparatus which, when a packing material is conveyed biasedly due to irregular winding of the packing material wound in a rolled state or fluctuation in the tension of the drawn packing material and the side edges of the packing material are trued up and sealed horizontally, prevents the occurrence of such a problem that the one edge ascends and the other edge descends, and edges are not trued up. <P>SOLUTION: A packing material folding-back means has a triangular part the apex angle part 26 of which is made to look ahead in a conveying direction, the front side of which is made lower than the back side thereof in the conveying direction and which is supported to be freely turned. When the packing material S is biased toward the right or left side in the width direction due to irregular winding, the packing material S is conveyed biasedly toward the right or left side in the width direction with respect to a guide wall or tilted part 28, however since the triangular part is freely turnable, a correction mechanism acts to balance the moment, so that the triangular part is turned clockwise or counterclockwise and the apex angle part 26 is positioned over the central part of the packing material S in the width direction.
