<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional sensor, for detecting the approach of a person or an object on the basis of the change of capacitance, in which standby power cannot be eliminated due to the need of uninterrupted operation of a circuit for detection. <P>SOLUTION: A thermoelectric sensor switch includes: a thermal power generation part having thermoelectric elements; and a switch control part to be electrically connected to the thermal power generation part. The thermal power generation part includes a heat dissipation part and a heat storing part to be connected to the thermoelectric elements, so as to generate electromotive force by a temperature difference between the heat dissipation part and the heat storing part. The switch control part includes: a detection part to be electrically connected to the thermal power generation part; and a control part to be electrically connected to the detection part. The detection part detects the electromotive force to be generated in the thermal power generation part, and transmits an electromotive force detection signal to the control part. The control part transmits a control signal to a device power supply part of a device to be electrically connected to the switch control part, on the basis of the detection signal to be transmitted, and controls the device power supply part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
