<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image quality by solving the problem in a transfer mechanism which holds a recording medium by the same adsorption forces, wherein paper is elongated when an ink is landed, and the quality of a recorded image is deteriorated due to the displacement of the image caused by the elongation of the paper at a seam joint in a line head having a constitution that a plurality of recording heads are connected to one another. <P>SOLUTION: This inkjet printer suppress the elongation of the paper by dispersing internal stress acting in the scanning direction at the elongation of the paper of the recording medium to which the ink is discharged by raising the adsorption force to a region of the recording medium which opposes the seam joint of the recording head more than the adsorption force to a region of a non-seam joint. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
