<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, which is capable of improving productivity by increasing flexibility thereof and is capable of improving battery characteristics such as charge storage characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: A cathode 1 in which a cathode mixture layer is formed on at least one surface of a cathode collector, the mixture layer containing a cathode active material, an aqueous binder, and a conductive agent, is characterized in that: a lithium transition metal complex oxide on the surface of which an erbium compound is deposited is used as the cathode active material; and latex rubber is used as the aqueous binder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
