<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an updating method of an existing pipe, capable of efficiently demolishing and eliminating the existing pipe such as a deteriorated drainpipe provided with secondary lining concrete on an inner peripheral surface of a primary lining segment, and efficiently and accurately constructing a new pipe at the place of the demolition. <P>SOLUTION: By advancing a crusher A provided with a cutter head 2 on a front end of a cylindrical barrel 1, secondary lining concrete P2 in an existing pipe P is crushed and removed in a length direction from the rear end face by the rotating cutter head 2. Then, while advancing a tunnel excavator A provided with a cylindrical body 30 covering a rear end part of a primary lining segment P1 on the front side, the cylindrical body 30 is rotated. Thus, outer peripheral ground of the primary lining segment P1 is excavated by a cutter bit 31 projected at the front end of the cylindrical body 30, the primary lining segment P1 covered with the cylindrical body 30 is demolished and removed, and also a new pipe P' is formed inside a rear part of the tunnel excavator A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
