PURPOSE: A system for providing a content display service and a method thereof are provided to conduct a survey or advertise a product at a more affordable price by transmitting multimedia contents at the price rate of a text message. CONSTITUTION: If a message transmitted to a first portable terminal(140) is received from a first transmitting terminal(110), a first message processing server(120) outputs the received message according to a web address mapped with a calling number of the message. A first content providing server(130) receives the message from the first message processing server. The first content providing server confirms contents corresponding to the calling number of the message. The first portable terminal receives the message and the confirmed contents.
