There is provided a water current power generating device for generating electric power from water current power, the device comprising: a sway vibrating body which bends in response to a fluid force exerted on a circumference surface thereof by a water current, sways in a bending state, and generates tension in response to a deflection angle from a direction of the water current, and at least one tension power generating unit for converting electro-magnetically or piezoelectricaly the tension transferred from the sway vibrating body into the electric power. With the above configurations, ever stable electric power can be generated from water current power in a variety of water areas of slow-moving water current to fast-moving water current. |
