<p>PURPOSE: A ranking based medium access control method in a wireless network is provided to promote medium usage rates by reducing time overhead consumed in a medium access control process between nodes. CONSTITUTION: Each message transmission node transmits an individual beacon signal in a time slot corresponding to an ID(identification)(S210). Each message transmission node counts the number of beacon signals. Each message transmission node determines an order(S220). Each message transmission node is included in a message transmission node. Each message transmission node transmits messages according to the determined order(S30).
