The focus of the invention is a heating arrangement for enhanced heating of a high temperature fuel cell device, each fuel cell in the fuel cell device comprising an anode side (100), a cathode side (102), and an electrolyte (104) between the anode side and the cathode side, the fuel cell device comprising the fuel cells in a structure of fuel cell stacks (103) and means (132) for determining essential temperature information of the fuel cells. The heating arrangement comprises first and second heating means (120, 122) arranged to perform combined radiative and convective heating of the fuel cell stacks (103) by comprising the first heating means (120) for performing radiative heating of the fuel cell stacks (103) from outside the structure of the fuel cell stacks (103) and second heating means (122) for performing convective heating of the fuel cell stacks (103) from inside the structure of the fuel cell stacks (103) to arrange essentially homogenous heating of the stacks (103). |
