COLLIMATOR APPARATUS FOR NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING EQUIPMENT USING RADIATION SOURCE

PURPOSE: A collimator apparatus for nondestructive testing equipment using radiation is provided to prevent a worker from being exposed to radiation by controlling the position and direction of the collimator. CONSTITUTION: A body(20) includes a lower body(22) and an upper body(24). The lower body includes three wheels(30). A gear unit is formed on the center of a driving shaft(32). A driving motor(40) is formed on the lower body and contacted to the gear unit. A steering column is combined with the lower body. A buffer member is arranged between the steering column and a steering motor to prevent the damage of the steering motor.
