PURPOSE: A loess member and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to simplify a manufacturing process by directly filling a plate-shaped support plate with loess powder. CONSTITUTION: A loess member(1) comprises a support plate(3), multiple penetration portions(5), loess powder(9), and first and second support sheets. The penetration portions are formed on the support plate at uniform intervals and are filled with the loess powder to have the same thickness as the support plate. The first and second support sheets are attached to both surfaces of the support plate and prevent the filled loess powder from leaking to the outside.
