The invention relates to methods for pulverization drying of polymer compositions containing water soluble or expanding in water polymer produced in the addition of vinyl, dispersions, emulsions and microemulsions until the production of essentially dry particles of a water-soluble or expanding in water polymer, as well as to compositions including the above particles. The invention also relations to methods for the agglomeratio of the polymer particles produced after the pulverization dying, and to methods for the application of these particles and agglomerates for the treatment of waters in mining, in the manufacture of paper, foodstuff processing, soil conditioning, thickening of solutions, in biotechnologies and in oil extraction. 17 claims
