<p>The invention relates to an equipment mainly for covering the road bridges expansion joints, used for ensuring the motor vehicles traffic fluency in the region of the moving joints between the adjacent sections of the bridge flooring, or between the same and the bridge abutments. According to the invention, the equipment comprises some profiled longitudinal metal members () reinforced at the upper edge with two symmetrically positioned thickened bulb-type parts (), anchored to the structure of the bridge () by some spiral-shaped loop-anchors (), or in another constructive embodiment by some plate-anchors () and some tie-rods (), the waterproofing of the bridge () being ensured by an profiled elastomer section () resting at its lower side on some shoulders ().</p> |
