<p>The invention relates to a macromolecular phytotherapeutical product having immunostimulating effect, extracted from the Telekia speciosa species, presented as a pearled cream-white lyophilized product of mucilaginous taste, mostly containing a compound of glucidic nature having a molecular weight of 130000 D, which mainly comprises galacturonic acid, glucuronic acid, glucose, galactose and rhamnose. The process for preparing the phytotherapeutical product consists in making a water decoction of the blossomed aerial part of Telekia speciosa, dried and ground, followed by subjecting the same to maceration for 24 h, at a dried drug:extract ratio of 1:10 g/ml, after which the extractive mixture is stirred, filtered, then to the filtrate there is admixed a double volume of methanol:acetone 1:1 solvent, and, after leaving it to rest, the supernatant is removed and the filtered precipitate is subjected to wringing out and drying at 40°C. The resulting coarse macromolecular fraction is dissolved again in water and lyophilized to obtain the purified macromolecular phytotherapeutical product.</p> |
