<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of generating power in a fuel cell according to a load request, while improving durability of the fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system comprises a fuel cell stack 10, an air pump 31, a first converter 55, a motor 51, and an ECU 80 controlling the air pump 31 and the first converter 55 based on a target voltage and a switch voltage of a single cell calculated on the basis of a requested power. The ECU 80 executes a first mode for controlling the first converter 55 so that an actual voltage of the single cell follows the target voltage when the target voltage is equal to or less than the switch voltage; and executes a second mode for controlling the first converter 55 so that the actual voltage of the single cell is maintained at the switch voltage, and controlling the air pump 31 to change an air supply amount, change an IV characteristic of the single cell, change an actual current of the single cell, and make the actual power outputted by the fuel cell stack 10 follow the requested power, when the target voltage is not less than the switch voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
