<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect various types of devices in a machine tool from damage etc. when an abnormal situation occurs. <P>SOLUTION: A mounting face 21 of a tool post 11 and a mounting face 31 of a tool holder 12 are brought into contact with each other. A mounting rod 22 is protruded on the mounting face 21 to be orthogonal to the mounting face 21. A male screw 23 is formed on a tip outer face of the mounting rod 22. A rod hole 33 to which the mounting rod 22 is fitted to enable the tool holder 12 to rotate around the mounting rod 22 and from which the male screw 23 is protruded is formed on the mounting face 31. A tightening nut 71 is screwed to the male screw 23. Rotating torque around the mounting rod 22 of the tool holder 12 made to act by external force applied to a cutting tool B can be restricted to an allowable value or lower, the rotating torque depending on the magnitude of tightening force of the tightening nut 71. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
