<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of increasing the proportion of soot whose crystallinity in a filter is relatively low while performing sulfur poisoning processing even when performing filter regeneration following sulfur poisoning cancellation processing. <P>SOLUTION: In an exhaust gas aftertreatment device of a diesel engine that includes a filter (15) and an NOx trap catalyst (13), and performs the filter regeneration following sulfur poisoning cancellation processing by the NOx trap catalyst, either a first combustion mode in which soot whose crystallinity is relatively low is generated in large quantity during the sulfur poisoning cancellation processing, or a second combustion mode in which soot whose crystallinity is relatively high is generated in large quantity is selected so that the temperature of the sulfur poisoning cancellation by the NOx trap catalyst is maintained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
