METHOD FOR GENERATING MULTI-VIEWPOINT IMAGE USING CAMERA PARAMETERS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for generating a multi-viewpoint image using camera parameter information.

SOLUTION: A method for generating a multi-viewpoint image includes a step of extracting camera parameter information of each image in image units of a predetermined size from an input bit stream and a step of generating a prescribed image based on the extracted camera parameter information. The camera parameter information includes a flag representing existence of camera parameters representing intrinsic properties of a camera including a prescribed camera distance and a principal point of each image.
