<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power supply for a high frequency transmitter having enhanced efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The switching power supply which performs envelope tracking driving of a transmission amplifier based on the waveform of an input signal comprises a transformer receiving an input signal on the primary, and a switching section being connected to the secondary of the transformer.
