摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus capable of appropriately performing eddy current correction. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus in this embodiment includes a storage part, an eddy current correcting part and a gradient magnetic field power supply. The storage part stores eddy current correction parameters corresponding to respective imaging positions for correcting the influence of an eddy current magnetic field. The eddy current correcting part receives the waveform of a gradient magnetic field calculated based on imaging conditions, performs calculation with an eddy current correction parameter selected according to the imaging position for the received waveform of the gradient magnetic field, and outputs the corrected waveform obtained as the result of the calculation to the gradient magnetic field power supply.
