<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an escalator step that enables easy pull-out of foreign matter sandwiched between the escalator step and skirt guard. <P>SOLUTION: The escalator step includes: a step body 1 that has a tread part 111 formed with a tread 110 and that moves while a side surface faces the skirt guard 4; a shaft member 22 that is supported by the step body 1 to be disposed between the tread part 111 and the skirt guard 4 and that is elongated in the longitudinal direction of the tread 110; and a cylindrical brush 23 that is provided on the shaft member 22 and that is rotated on the shaft member 22. The brush 23 is rotated only in a direction in which a part of the brush 23 on the side of the skirt guard 4 with respect to the shaft member 22 moves to a position on the side of the tread part 111 with respect to the shaft member 22 through an area above the shaft member 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
