<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately control a display of information on an intermediary point en route to a guidance point in accordance with a position of the intermediary point on a screen. <P>SOLUTION: A navigation device, which performs a route guidance using an image showing a landscape from a current position, comprises display control means which controls a display of information on a plurality of intermediary points located along a route from the current position to a guidance point at respective positions on the image corresponding to the plurality of the intermediary points. The display control means controls the information on at least one of the plurality of the intermediary points to be hidden based on a positional relation of the plurality of the intermediary points on the image as well as the positional relation of the same on the route. Thus, the navigation device can appropriately hide the information on the intermediary points which is not to be displayed among the plurality of the intermediary points located between the current point and the guidance point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
