<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a retained coin in a reception unit with higher accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A coin processor includes determination means and drive processing means. The determination means determines whether a coin remains in a reception unit by using the detection result of a detection sensor for detecting a coin. If the determination means determines that a coin remains, the drive processing means performs processing of reversely rotating a conveyance belt and then normally rotating the conveyance belt, and if the processing cannot remove the residual coin, the processing is performed again with the reverse rotation time of the conveyance belt being longer than in the last processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
