The arrangement has an annular electric conductor arranged at a rotatable gantry part (11) for supplying electric signals. The conductor is divided into annular conductor segments (12) that are not electrically interconnected with each other. Transmission units (14) are connected with different segments and different signal sources i.e. X-ray detectors (5), and supply the different signals into the segments. The segments comprise antenna elements e.g. strip line (20) and transmitter antennas, and annular receiving units (15) are mounted on a fixed gantry part. An independent claim is also included for a method for contact-free transmission of electric signals of signal sources between a fixed gantry part and a rotatable gantry part of a computer tomography (CT) system.
